Birth and Postpartum Doula Support Packages

Whether you are planning to deliver your baby in a hospital, birth center, at home - or you are not sure yet - these options are all available to you.

Packages & Fees

The Birth Package

  • Initial consultation

  • 3 prenatal visits to holistically prepare you - mind, body, & soul - for birth and postpartum. We will:

    • Explore your values, vision, hopes, preferences and individualized needs for your birth and develop a birth plan that expresses this. Creating safe space for you is a priority.

    • Discuss dynamics of various birth settings - hospital, birth center, and home - and cover information that fits your needs and interests

    • Practice stretches, exercises, and/or prenatal yoga (according to your preferences)

    • Practice breathing techniques, comfort measures, and positions for labor and discuss all pain management options

    • Prepare your partner or support team (if you have one) to support you during labor

    • Prepare you for postpartum

    • Discuss any other birth or postpartum topic you request

  • Support via Phone, Text, or Email until up to 12 weeks postpartum

  • On-call (24/7) availability starting 2 weeks before your due date til birth

  • Continuous, professional, in-person support and advocacy through labor and birth

  • In-person support for up to 2 hours postpartum which includes early postpartum and breastfeeding support

  • Postpartum visit for support in breastfeeding and newborn care, processing your birth experience, and celebrating!

The Whole Journey Package

From the time I am hired until you are 12 weeks postpartum, we can be on the journey together! This package bundles together the Birth and Postpartum packages including:

  • Everything included in The Birth Package

  • 8 postpartum support visits as described in The Postpartum Package for 4 hours each

    • Additional hours can be added for $50/hour

The Postpartum Package

This package and its amount of support hours varies based on your needs and preferences. We’ll customize it for you. Support is offered either as Daytime OR Nighttime support.

Daytime

  • Unbiased and accepting in-home support as you transition into parenthood

  • 1 Prenatal Appointment to get to know each other and create a postpartum plan and decide support hours

  • Phone and text support from your baby’s arrival up until 12 weeks postpartum

  • Development of a self-care plan

  • Feeding support (breast or bottle)

  • Guidance for your partner(s) (if applicable) in how to care for and support you

  • Guidance in infant massage, if desired

  • Guidance in understanding infant cues and behavior, sleep and developmental stages

  • Guidance in newborn care

  • Guidance in postpartum nutrition, prepping meals, or cooking meals

  • Light housekeeping (i.e. Cleaning bottles and breast pump supplies)

  • Spending time with siblings while you are caring for the new baby

  • Guidance toward other local resources when needed

  • + Personalized support for you! Everyone has different needs and we can tailor a plan that fits for you. We are not limited to this list.

Nighttime Support

  • Daytime offerings +

  • Guidance in restorative sleep and rest

  • Newborn care as you sleep

  • Log of baby’s activities and moods throughout the night
